My experience at Southland Dental has been wonderful so far.
I was referred by my Ortho for a check-up on my gum recession.
I had an appointment scheduled with Dr Hanookai.
From the offset, the staff were just so lovely.
I had some anxiety when i initially called in, but even just speaking to Joanna over the phone, i felt assured.
Joanna and Ana were so helpful and so sweet when I visited.
(Thank you both for answering all my questions)
Dr Hanookai was so great too, she explained exactly what i needed and i felt as comfortable as can be during the procedure.
Im still healing and eventhough i had a concern prior to my next visit, they were able to have me stop by same day to ensure i was healing appropriately.

If i could give this dental office 10 stars i absolutely would! I drive over an hour to see them because they are so amazing. From the front office to the back office they make your visit so flawless. They work with your budget. Came in to my routine 6 month check up. The receptionist Joanna is incredible her customer service is an A. I have been going to this office for several years now and everything and everyone has been outstanding. In my opinion Southland Dental Care is a 10 out of 10. The Dr’s are amazing Dr. Hanookai will explain all of the treatment in detail when it comes to your gums and Dr. Abaian did my veneers a couple of years ago he explain the processes and Ana went over the financial area I could not bee happier with the results.
All of my friends and family are now patients of Southland Dental Care.

Whenever I go here I see Dr. Azita and she is the most thorough and thoughtful dentist I've ever been to. When i first came here my gums were a mess, borderline gingivitis and she did more than clean she educated me. Every question I asked she answered and gave me detailed step by step instructions on how to properly care for my teeth. I followed her advice and my teeth/gums are the healthiest they've ever been. The first day I had all of my measurements and Ana was able to help me with the financials. I was nervous about taking my father to Southland Dental Care because apparently my dad had not followed up with dental appointments since 2019!!  Prior to new appointment the other day, Daisy and Joana over the phone reassured me that I can again bring my dad in, even though my father is currently recovering but also in declining health and often needs wheelchair access. Once arrived, it was positive experience for my 83-year-old father as he remembered the beautiful facility and smiling Southland Dental Care staff... I originally came for a deep teeth cleaning and while I was in the waiting area, I noticed one their books on the table had information about gum whitening/bleaching by Dr. Hanookai. I did my research and asked several questions before making the decision. I decided to go through with the procedure and I have zero regrets. My smile looks even brighter and better than before! When I look at old pics, I'm shocked at how far I've come. This is life changing in the best way! Ask to look at their before and after pics! Received gum bleaching treatment (today) and the immediate results are to die for, i’m in love. I was a bit nervous about my gums not fully lifting or looking spotty but the lift is consistent and pink. Southland Dental was a pleasure to be at today. I had a modern spa-like experience and it was a nice surprise to try the dentist office. The staff was courteous, kind, and attentive and had very knowledgeable experience on dentistry and they had very modern equipment. They even had some equipment that I had never seen before like 3-D of my teeth. I think this dentist is top notch from what I have seen in my first experience. I will definitely be returning and telling everyone I know about how much I loved my experience here! From the warm welcome from Joana at the front desk to the xray scan from Nicole and my amazing cleaning from Fidel!

I came in traumatized from previous experiences at other dental offices and started to have an anxiety attack but thanks to the teams’ patience and professionalism I was able to calm down and finish my cleaning which was the best one I have had in a long time!! I had the best dental office experience of my life and I am not joking! From my check-in with Joana to my X-rays with Nicole. Fidel did my cleaning and I am so happy for their professionalism and excellent customer service. 

Not only is the office beautifully decorated, the team is professional, caring and friendly.

Ana was amazing explaining a payment plan that would help me do monthly payments to be able to achieve the smile of my dreams. I don’t usually leave a review but this place deserves more than five stars. A little
Story I have been struggling with my gums for years because they were so dark and my smile wasn’t where I wanted to be. After research I found southland dental care Dr. Hanookai reversed my gums and when I tell you they are pink and my smile transformed. I can’t express the happiness’s I felt when my smile transformed it was life changing and I will forever be grateful I found this place.
