Because the aligners are both invisible and removable, you can continue to eat all your favorite foods at all stages of treatment. Each set of custom-made aligners last about two weeks and should be removed only to eat, drink, brush, or floss. After each series of aligners, you will start to see your teeth gradually moving and straightening to their proper positions. You will need to visit Dr. Abaian at Southland Dental Care about once every six weeks to make sure that your treatment is properly advancing. In total, Invisalign treatment generally takes 9-15 months, during which time patients typically go through 18-30 sets of aligners.
